Tango was created at the end of the nineteenth century in La Boca’s port area, specifically in the Conventillos –big houses in which a lot of families of immigrants that were arriving from Europe lived.
Tango developed from that mixture of cultures, each having their own typical music and dances; and so the music of the Río de la Plata was born.
During this 3-day program, we will lead you to uncover the secrets of the most beautiful dance. We will guide you in a simple and enjoyable way so you can learn to “walk” Tango and to dance it, even in the Milonga. You can take dance lessons during the day, and we will pick you up from your Hotel at night to take you to one of the most traditional Milongas of Buenos Aires, so you can practice the moves you learned as if you were just another milonguero.
- Five hours of Tango lessons with a couple of bilingual teachers (Spanish/English).
- Tickets for 2 traditional Milongas in different days.
- Tango guide that will stay with you all night.
- 1 Welcome drink in each Milonga (non-alcoholic drinks, a glass of Wine or Champagne).
- 3-step dinner with non-alcoholic drinks and Wine included in a traditional Argentinian Steakhouse.
- Transport to/from the Tango lessons (it can be requested as an Optional service).
